After a disastrous 2010 season that saw West Coast hit the bottom of the ladder for the first time, a campaign message was needed to lift the spirit of a despondent club and a discontented fan base.
As large as West Coast are, they are humble in their community spirit and team camaraderie – yet they’re an inspiration to each other, the community and their fans. It was time to make it public.
‘INSPIRED 2011’ was launched. It marked a time where fans sought inspiration from their heroes, and the players their fans and from each other, on and off the field.
With a mix of TV, press, social & online, and external signage, INSPIRED 2011 rallied fans and stakeholders alike to a reinvigorated West Coast.
They went on to make the preliminary finals of that year.
